Doctors across the country are uniting to oppose Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). His decades of spreading dangerous disinformation, undermining public health efforts, and promoting conspiracy theories make him wholly unfit to lead the nation’s most critical health agency.

Together, we can ensure decision-makers hear loud and clear that the medical community stands against this nomination. By taking action today, you can make a tangible impact and help safeguard the progress we’ve made in advancing public health, evidence-based medicine, and patient care.

Add your name to the growing coalition of physicians calling on the Senate to reject RFK Jr.’s appointment to HHS. Every signature strengthens our message that his nomination poses a clear and present danger to public health.

Your voice matters. Urge your senators to oppose RFK Jr.’s nomination and demand leadership at HHS that prioritizes science, integrity, and the well-being of our patients.

The AMA has long been a trusted leader in advocating for public health and we must hold them accountable to continue this work. Encourage them to align their advocacy with physicians and patients by taking a public stance against RFK Jr.’s nomination, condemning the use of recess appointments as a means of sidestepping the Senate confirmation process, and withholding PAC support from U.S. senators who endorse his appointment.

Professional and specialty organizations have a powerful platform to advocate for policies that impact health outcomes and influence decision-makers. Encourage them to align their advocacy with health care professionals and patients by taking a public stance against RFK Jr.’s nomination, condemning the use of recess appointments as a means of sidestepping the constitutional requirement of Senate advice and consent – and (if relevant) withholding PAC support from U.S. senators who endorse his appointment.
