WHAT IS THE COMMITTEE TO PROTECT HEALTH CARE?
The Committee to Protect Health Care (CTP) is a national health care advocacy organization building a pro-patient majority in Congress and states; confronting the failures of the American health care system with political and legislative solutions through the trusted voices of medical professionals and experts.
Committee Members are defending access to safe, legal abortion, a critical component of health care, at the state and federal level. The Committee to Protect Health Care fights to ensure that reproductive care, including abortion and gender-affirming care, is accessible to all, free from interference from politicians and judges seeking to exploit the issue for political and financial gain.
From advocating for reforms in the press, fighting to hold anti-health care politicians accountable, facing down disinformation, and more, doctors, nurses, and activists of the Committee to Protect Health Care team are championing reproductive care access and improving the American health care system one hard-fought win at a time.
