Transform Your Passion for Patient Care into Power
The Committee to Protect Health Care is hosting our first-ever national organizing summit — an opportunity to build community with physicians and health advocates who share our values, at a critical moment in the trajectory of American health care and democracy.
As the current administration and Congress are gutting Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and our public health infrastructure, it’s never been more important for physicians to band together, get organized, and speak out on behalf of their patients.
That’s why we’re convening physicians and health advocates to connect, strategize, and gain the skills necessary to be effective advocates in public communications, politics, and policy. You’ll leave feeling prepared to turn your passion for patient care into political power — and help your fellow physicians do the same.
VENUE:
Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk
301 E North Water St, Chicago, IL, 60611, US
You’ll be joined by physicians, health care advocates, Committee leaders, and political operatives from across the country who are unified in our shared goals of moving public opinion, and and passing pro-health care policies to build power for better American Health Care.
This will be a unique opportunity (different from a medical conference) to connect with physicians of different specialties, backgrounds, and states over a shared commitment to patients over profit and co-create strategies to take back the government for evidence-based medicine and create a new vision for health care access in America.
DAY 1: Introduction and Networking (June 3, 2026)
DAY 2: Learning and Skills Development (June 4, 2026)
DAY 3: Co-Creating the Strategy to Win (June 5, 2026)
Trump’s Medicaid Cuts passed, but the fight isn’t over.
If your representative voted to kick up to 17 million people off their health care, let them know the harm they’ve caused. If they stood with patients and voted against the bill, they deserve to hear your gratitude.
