POWERED BY DOCTORS

At the Committee to Protect Health Care Education Fund, our mission is to fight for quality, affordable health care that protects patients over profits.

We envision a country where everyone has the health care they need to thrive.

We believe health care policy should be centered on patient outcomes and informed by those who see the need every day: doctors and medical professionals.

We’re doctors who want to advocate for our patients beyond the exam room or hospital.

To do this, we recruit doctors across the country, help build their skills and knowledge as communicators, and mobilize them to be champions for patients, making the case for viable, equitable policies and practices at the state and federal levels.

TRUSTED VOICES

Today, our national network includes 36,000+ doctors from every state, representing a wide variety of medical specialities and backgrounds.

We don’t wait for physicians to raise their hands to volunteer their voice, instead we pull them out, identify their strengths, and prepare them to tell their story to the right audience at the right time.

And because we provide them the tools and opportunities to effectively communicate to win viable health care reform, we retain, grow, and deepen the engagement of our network, developing doctors as future leaders in health care and patient advocacy.

OUR TEAM

Staff of the Committee to Protect Health Care Education Fund come to the organization with experience in state and federal politics, issue campaigns, and legislative offices.

This experience informs the Committee’s health care advocacy efforts and inspires their unabashed patient advocacy.

We believe that, to achieve long overdue change to the U.S. health care system, to ensure we attain universal coverage, we must educate stakeholders and decision makers, and drive civic engagement across the country. Building power for health care change requires an action-oriented staff, and the Committee has it.
