The Committee to Protect Health Care Education Fund is a civic home base for doctors across specialties to collaborate on improving health care through our initiatives.
Physicians nationwide have been ready to change the system to better meet the needs of their patients, but they need an effective civic vehicle to get them involved in a way that respects their limited time and capacity.
The Committee to Protect Health Care Education Fund provides a platform to plug physicians into the right fight, at the right time, with the right messages, to help improve our health care system in a strategic and scaled way.
We’re bringing together experts to support the defense and expansion of access to reproductive health care.
The Reproductive Freedom Taskforce is a collaboration among abortion providers and health care providers, attorneys, and elected officials promoting strategies to ensure freedom in reproductive care
Members of our Taskforce have shared their stories directly to a national audience to help give context to reproductive health care issues in the news in a way that speaks to the actual implications for people in their everyday lives
We’re expanding our network of physicians by pushing for change that helps patients get the care they need to thrive.
Using the best available tools and seizing on critical health care and political inflection points, we’re building one of the largest bases of mobilized physician-advocates in all 50 states.
We’re providing continuous development to keep physician leaders engaged and energized.
After recruiting physicians to take action, we continue to build on these relationships and deepen engagement, sending action takers membership packets about how to get involved; sharing weekly email newsletters to keep them informed on the news, public policy, and politics of health care; and bringing them into other health care fights relevant to their regions.
We’re empowering future leaders in health care and patient advocacy.
We work with physician members to build their campaign and advocacy skills not just to scale our impact but to improve and strengthen it in the form of trusted voices and leaders. Physicians with the Committee become organizers and leaders in their own right, helping direct advocacy efforts in their local communities.
Our communications staff work one-on-one with physicians to share best practices for media events and interviews, and help prepare them for interviews. Physicians who’ve never done interviews or spoken in press conferences have an opportunity to learn, practice, and grow with us.
