As hearings on President-Elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks begin this week, North Carolina physicians gathered virtually to urge Senator Thom Tillis to reject the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. Sen. Tillis is a member of the Senate Finance Committee, which needs to recommend Kennedy to the full Senate for a final confirmation vote.
The three physicians are among the more than 400 North Carolina doctors and the over 15,000 across the country who have signed a letter calling on the Senate to reject Kennedy’s appointment.
